Adam Michael O'Shea is an Irish singer-songwriter, actor and storyteller whose music bridges the rich tradition of Irish folk with the cinematic sweep of contemporary indie-pop. Originally from Waterford, his songs are rooted in the people, places and shared experiences that shape Irish life, delivered through a powerful, expressive tenor and an instinct for emotionally honest storytelling. A graduate of the prestigious London Studio Centre , Adam was awarded the Sheila O'Neill Award for Most Outstanding All-Around Student , an honour previously presented to performers including Luke Evans and Elizabeth Hurley. Since then he has built an international performing career spanning award-winning musical theatre, television and global touring, establishing a reputation as a versatile performer equally at home on the West End stage, in the recording studio or before a live audience. His theatre credits include the multi-award-winning production of Kinky Boots , alongside European tours of Cabaret and Oklahoma! , while his work as lead vocalist with the internationally touring Celtic Harps has taken him to audiences across Europe and North America, including appearances connected with The Voice UK and PBS America's Ireland with Michael . Before launching his solo career, Adam found national recognition as one half of the vocal duo The Púcas . Their charity single, "Christmas in Galway," produced by Mark Cahill at Ivory Studios, became a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition , received support from Hot Press , RTÉ , Today FM , and international radio stations from Ireland to New York and London, while also earning recognition from the Office of the President of Ireland. Barry Jay Hughes is one of Ireland hardest working solo folk rock musicians. Carving a path for himself in the Irish music industry since early 2014. His Debut EP 'This Way Up' was released in April 2015 to critical acclaim and was quickly followed by 'Tried & Treasured' a mini album which was released in April 2016. Since Hughes hit the Irish Music scene he has been touring the country as well as gigging in the Uk, Sweden and Poland. His powerful vocal has been compared to that of Eddie Vedder and Glen Hansard and he takes inspiration from other Irish artists including Wallis Bird and Damien Rice. His songwriting style is that of a story teller and Hughes always manages to draw the audience in with his solemn and quiet tones that fit nicely upon his rhythmic style of guitar playing. Berthmark is the persona name of Singer Songwriter Mark Joseph Parsons. He is a Singer/Songwriter of Fun Loving Romantic Folk/Rock and Blues told through a story telling Tongue. You got to tell a story, don't you.? , he says. He learned how to play the thin whistle and bodhran and over the years that followed, he went on to teach himself other instruments. Short stories was a huge passion of his and he began turning them into songs and bringing them to life, This particular method was the perfect fit for him and he has being writing this way ever since . At the age of 16 he saw an add in the local newsletter about an act looking for members for a local Folk group. He applied and later was invited to join that Senior folk group in his local church, They played regularly at mass and it was there he gained valuable experience with the more experienced musicians and mastering his own unique style of playing. A few years later he set up his own junior folk group and taught other younger kids how to play and sing, This is something that is very close to his heart and he still continues to this very day . Cian Rock is a 22 year old singer/songwriter from Kiltyclogher, Co.Leitrim. From as young 10 years old Cian always fancied himself as a writer and began creating and performing original songs.In his early days he fell in love with old blues music like Muddy waters,Robert Johnson and Jimmy Hendrix . However his influences progressed to more alternative artists such as David Bowie , Mick Flannery, Alt J , Bombay Bicycle Club and The Arctic monkeys. Today his music can be described as alternative indie/folk/rap/rock and creates raw and honest lyrics often talking about governmental , societal and introspective things, Complimented by intricate finger-picking.Cian studied music performance in Cavan where he was also awarded residency in “Cois Tine” by the arts council.More recently he has been gigging back home in Leitrim where he played at the Balinamore free fringe festival , stoneywoods festival, supported Lisa O'Neill and played in the dock arts centre. In addition to this he was the closing act for Sligo Live festival in the summer of 2017 . In 2016 Cian released a single for the Stoneywoods festival about dealing with the grief of loosing his older brother who died tragically of sudden adult death syndrome.The song called “Another Way” was in aid of the matter foundation and turned out to be a huge success selling 100's of copies and reaching over 8 thousand views on youtube.Most recently he performed three songs on the live performance series “project 82” which can be found on youtube.In addition he was interviewed by Ocean Fm and played on their show called “Arts house sessions”.Currently Cian is working on his EP and is fully concentrated on his original work and the creative exploration of his own personal journey. Part post-punk revival, part neo-psychedelica, Fans of Darktown are familiar with their ‘groove-noir’ style, woven-through with bleak, folk lyricism. For the unanointed: each Darktown track creates a sonic landscape populated by a strange cast of characters. Unhinged preachers, moonstruck lovers, and lost souls abound. Declan Drohan, dark balladeer and lead vocalist with the group, says that their EP ‘Deepwater Quay’ was “a statement of intent”. He describes their latest album release, ‘Machinery of Night’, as being “more sonically diverse” with a “broader palette of sound and rhythm” featuring “elements of dub and electronica”. Donal is a singer songwriter in the true sense of the word and his songs reflect the everyday life and changing issues that visit us all. He has released a four song EP of self penned and performed songs called My Journey in 2014. Since then Donal has had several radio interviews on Near FM and received very good reviews of his EP .He has played at some of the countries popular singer songwriter sessions such as the Coffin shed and the Purple Sessions .Donal is very passionate about helping people and has played at all of "The Simon gigs " for the homeless to date and has promised to continue to do so as long as he is able. Donal has also being helping the Irish Artist and runs a very successful monthly session for singer songwriters in Clonmellon called the Cafe Sessions. The cafe sessions are hosted in an intimate setting in the local coffee shop where the general public get to hear the Artist close up and personal. No amps , No mics, just the artist and their creative instrument seated in front of a small audience . Donal's passion is to allow the artist to be seen in their natural form and bring some of the old tradition of storytelling and song ( which has being somewhat lost to us ) back to this quite unique setting.
